Q: In the case of a miscarriage where the baby was about 5 months, should a name be given?

What will be the burial process of the foetus?

A: If any limb of the foetus has formed (e.g. hands, legs, fingers, nails, mouth, nose, hair etc.) though the entire body has not been formed at the time of the miscarriage, then the child should be named, washed wrapped in a cloth and buried without any Janazah Salah. If the limbs are not formed, no name will be given and there will be no Ghusl. The foetus should just be wrapped in a piece of cloth and buried.
